TEENS – Ages 12-18 – 1-4 p.m. June 11 through June 21 – Tuesday-Friday for two weeks. 

Performance on last day.

Every student learn musical theater performance and song interpretation, stage movement, creating a character, dialogue preparation and choreography fundamentals.

Students will prepare solo and small group pieces as well as two ensemble musical numbers with a “Once Upon a Time” theme as the final performance for family and friends on Friday, June 21.

FINAL PERFORMANCE at the High Valley Arts Studio, 210 East Main, Midway, on Friday, June 21.

REGISTRATION FEE:  EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION by April 30 – $200; $210 until May 31 when enrollment closes.  Multiple children – $10 less each additional child.

LAURA WARDLE – Laura holds a BA in Film/Theater and an MFA in Acting from BYU with additional training from the SAG Conservatory, American Film Institute, and the Globe. Shakespeare. Recent theater/film credits include Mrs. Bennet in “Pride and Prejudice at BYU, :”The Unexpected Guest, Covey Theater, and several Hallmark Christmas productions.
MINDY MCMASTER – Trained with Mikal Cassalino School of Creative Arts. She was on the U of U Ballroom Dance team and was a Pilates instructor. She has choreographed shows for more than ten years with High Valley Arts and has taught at Utah Arts Collective for more than four years.
MARY ECKERSLEY – Received a BA in Elementary Education from BYU and an MA in Writing Children’s Literature from Kingston University in London. She has privately trained in classical vocal performance and has been an elementary teacher for 20 years. She has performed, directed and assisted in community theater productions for ten years for HVAF, UAC, and TVT theater companies.
