Whispered Lace – A Study of Neutrals

Noticing subtle difference in color in a neutral palette is exciting and lends itself to inspired quilts. A quilt made with a neutral palette adds texture and depth to any sace where the quilt will be used — and a soothing calm, too.  Join me as we learn to incorporate warm and cool neutral shades into the same quilt and begin a bed-sized project.


  • “Modern Neutrals” book
  • 5 1/2 yards of cream or white solid fabric
  • 2/3 yard each of 12 assorted neutrals, medium in value. Bring a few extra if you are unsure and we will sort out the best group
  • Rotary cutter
  • Mat
  • Large ruler
  • Sewing machine
  • Pins/glue stick
